..Blindness.......
-------- ------------------------
A man married a beautiful woman. He loved her very much. One day she had a skin disease. Little by little her beauty began to fade. He was abroad at the time. He also lost his eyesight in an accident while returning home. However, their marriage went on as usual. But as the days passed, her beauty gradually faded. The blind husband was unaware of this and there was no change in their married life. He continued to love her and she loved him too. One day she died. Her death brought him great sorrow. He wanted to finish all of her funerals and leave the city. A man from behind said, “How can you walk alone now? Your wife has been helping you all these days.
He replied, “I am not blind. I acted, if she knew I could see the skin condition caused by her illness, I did that acting because it hurts her more than her disease. I loved her not only for her beauty, but also for her caring and loving nature. So I pretended to be blind. I just wanted to keep her happy. When you truly love someone, sometimes you go to great lengths to keep your loved one happy and sometimes blindly act and ignore each other's shortcomings in order to be happy. The beauty will fade over time, but the heart and soul will always be the same. Love someone but if there is an unchanging soul to that soul, not to his or her outward appearance.
